March 22, 2010

Check out these photos of our cedar lot on 3/7/10. We are cutting 20 acres of our 80 for Savanna Restoration for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).

    Hey James…tell me
about this EQIP. My father has 40 acres in North Boone County that is almost all solid wood…
I love it of course, would love to have it but alas…we will never know.

I’m interested in what EQIP is in case we ever need to deforest part of it…god forbid. What are you getting out of it. I mean cedars are good for their own purposes, but are you going to regrow in hardwoods?

    Thanks
    your beading friend Colleen
